Matthew currently has a private teaching studio in Cedar Falls, IA as well as Des Moines, IA.  Lessons include 2 and 4 mallet keyboard playing (marimba/vibraphone, etc.) as well as Snare Drum (rudimental and orchestral styles), drumset (various styles), and multiple percussion.   Lessons in Cedar Falls can also include timpani. 

 

Matt's students frequently receive placements in honor bands such as SCIBA/NEIBA.  Students have also been selected as "Best of Center" from Solo/Ensemble contest.  Many of Matt's students have chosen to continue to study music during their college career and have received music scholarships as well.
